Volunteer Opportunities
Help support a worthy cause while getting down to some wailin' music at the Gene Harris Jazz Festival, Concert Series.
The Gene Harris Jazz Festival seeks dedicated volunteers to help with this year's concerts and clinics. The three day event showcases the finest jazz in Boise and promotes jazz education programs at the highest level. Volunteers hear concerts for free and help with the continuing goal of providing scholarships through the Gene Harris Endowment Fund.
Volunteer gigs available:
- April 22, 2010 Concert
- April 23rd - Friday - Student Performances/Clinics, Campus Jazz Club Concerts, and Headline Concerts
- April 24 - Saturday , Student Performances/Clinics & Campus Jazz Club Concerts and Headline Concerts
- Responsibilities:
- Providing general information (BSU SUB)
- 4-5 hour shifts
- Selling and checking passes
- Providing informal security during clinics
- Distributing programs
- Selling merchandise
- Running information and materials to festival locations
- Band Guides (BSU Students)*
- Judges Assistants (BSU Students)*
- Other duties as determined
- Free admission to all events on the day you volunteer
- A Festival T-Shirt
- Opportunity to get your groove onto some wailin' jazz and meet some hip cats.
