Volunteer Opportunities
The Gene Harris Jazz Festival seeks dedicated volunteers to help with this year's concerts and clinics. The three day event showcases the finest jazz in Boise and promotes jazz education programs at the highest level.
Volunteer positions available:
March 20 or 21: Evening Headline Concerts
March 20 or 21: Day Student Performances/Clinics
Responsibilities:
- 4-5 hour shifts
- Selling tickets and checking passes
- Providing ushering and security services during concerts and clinics
- Distributing programs
- Running information and materials to festival locations
- Band Guides (BSU Students)*
- Judges Assistants (BSU Students)*
- Other duties as determined
As a volunteer, you receive from the festival:
- Free admission to all events on the day you volunteer
- The "inside scoop" on all of our great, festival jazz artists
